The highlight of the week is..... GREAT EASTERN RUN !
haha not as though I ran the marathon, but I was a volunteer together with yenxi, shuying and jennet (:
the crazy part of it was we had to report at 5.30AM at cityhall!!! ohmy.. trains and buses don't even work at such early hours! so.... cabbed there. I did not sleep the whole night cos I took a nap at 6PM and woke up at 8PM so i wasn't tired until i had to leave the house. so i only managed to close my eyes for an hour :(

I rushed down and didn't have time to change. so the brilliant shuying said " do the SC way". HAHA. you know what that means? she is referring to us changing in class cupboards! HAHA!
okay but the thing is there isn't cupboard for me to change so i changed in the bus(the one which was bringing us to our assigned place not SBS bus hor! )... Hehe.
of course with the help of jennet and shuying la.. it's impossible to do it by myself. I supposed the sight was very unglam.. but who cares la i managed to change anyways! :D
PS: SC taught us well :D:D

okay, so our job was to give out drinks.
We were the first water station, which is 2KM away fr the starting point.
arranging the drinks was rather fun.. but NOT WHEN EVERYONE COMES TO YOU ALL AT ONE GO FOR DRINKS!!!
The first runner came and omg.. she wanted to take ONE drink.. i repeat, ONE DRINK and the WHOLE ENTIRE row of drinks fell to the ground. my jaw dropped.
I know the first few runners are competitive runners but i think if i am in her position, of course i would have also grabbed one drink but i will also make sure the other drinks don't drop as i grab! scary.
and then.... comes the hundreds or was it thousands of people running towards u for drinks! i was very pressurized!!! Moreover i was standing at the very first table and i don't know why they just can't move to the back! but well.. an experience la. (:

when we were done, we walked to water point 3 to look for yenxi and to help out. when we had to walk to water point 3, i felt as though i am in the marathon except we took short cuts la. HAHA.
ohya.. when i was at water point one i saw Ms Leong, Ms Lin, Mrs bowness and Mrs Lim running :D Ms leong was so calm and cool when she came to the water table. she could even say HI to us.
At water point 3, we saw more people because it serves the 5km runners too. Saw lots of girls in YELLOW and felt that saying "GO SC" was a must and so i did! :D There was a group who cheered when i said, but got some looked at me with a surprised look. anyways.. the interesting part was to see the teachers!! hahaha saw lots of them too! FIFI, mrs fern, ms tan, mrs neoh, mrs de, mrs tang, mrs chia, ms goh etc.. i was SOOO HAPPY to see them :D:D:D

went to the SC booth after everything was over! SC is so cool man.. they have a tent JUST FOR SC! cos a lot of girls participated and so we won the school challenge thing. SUPER DUPER proud of SC. as usual. (:
especially when the MC shouted "what school ?!" there went the screams and cheers! The MCs were so shocked that we had such loud screams that he said " i'm sure screaming is part of your lessons". heh
I was once again indulged in the SC Spirit! and of course.. we ended with SC Cheer.
so heartwarming.. totally made my heart grined :D:D:D
I turned to shuying and said, " although there are many things that have changed, but I realised there are some things just have not changed too. "

I am also proud to announce that my HOLS IS HERE!!! JOY!
although it's only a pathetic one week hols, but it's really better than nothing!
actually.. come to think about it, having hols or not i still do feel very free. but when hols are here.. i feel even more free! I'm actually getting quite scared that one day I will forget the meaning of "stress" and "busy". but to me hols means that i get to sleep late and I can go ahead with the places i wanted to go in the day. Also, I feel that i need this hols badly to clear "some mess". yes my room is one and also mentally and emotionally. I need this time to motivate myself once again, so i'm sorry my dears, i don't plan to have meet ups this hols. I really do miss you guys a lot but I want to take this hols to spend time with myself. Hence, I am taking this hols easy! No appointments! haha. There's still dec anyways (:
