just came back from malacca a few days ago and it was quite fun(:
day 1
we stopped at one restaurant in malacca for lunch first before heading to the hotel. ms heng came to my table and sat with us.haha.the atmosphere at our table was obviously very quiet...and we didnt eat much cos of her presence...lol.felt quite awkward.
had seminar session one straight after we arrived at city bayview.
ms heng started off the seminar telling us what our school wants to achieve. sc hopes to 'twin' with schools in other countries, like right now we already have a twin school which is in india.so now we hope to have more(: and sc hopes to be internationally known too.
and the ex-co also spoke to us about the board's objectives.
at night we went for dinner and then to jonker street for shopping! its a night market where there are small stores around.quite interesting.btw...all the restaurants that we went to are all almost the same as the ones we went in sec 1-_-'' anyway.. i went around shopping with fang and we were going mad..lol.bought accessories.in fact throughout this whole trip..i bought only accessories. =(
and then back to the hotel and had seminar again.the ex-co spoke to us abt the changes in recess duties...after that zayana(my buddy) and i went back to our room to sleep=p
no WAIT! before that....the ex-co showed us a video of a person who could not make it for this seminar.that is.................... CAPTAIN ANG!!HAHAHAHA. he's a navy!lol. he was SO funny in the video!he was very shy and he couldnt stop laughing until TAKE 4. the video was hilarious man!=D
day 2
day two was practically seminar throughout the whole day..
talked about invest.all of the committees came up with ideas on being on board the plane, as our theme for this 05/06 is called ON BOARD. we chose on board cos ms heng wants it to be an
'internatioal theme' so it can link to what our sch wants to be.(as i have mentioned earlier)
its like us travelling 'on board' to many different countries to get pple to know what sc is and get them to join us.
our ideas weren't very good..and so ms seah thought of a BRILLIANT idea!ALL THANKS TO HER(:
haha.and so we have the rough idea of what we are going to be doing.
then we had lunch in the hotel.the food was good! had mini steamboat too.and the desserts were good! i ate soo many of the chocolate thing.=p
after lunch ms kim conducted her seminar with the title..WELCOME ABOARD.she said that in order to board a plane..everyone needs a boarding pass. and so she gave each and every one of us our very own boarding pass, where she printed the graph of our 'qualities' which the teachers had used to grade us when they nominate us.sad to say..my graph is quite bad=(
anyway, ms kim said that its the boarding pass(the qualities) that makes us a prefect.
and before she handed us the boarding pass...she make each and every one of us say smth.and u know i'm SUPER scared of this kind of thing..and i was the LAST to be called!!-_- every one was laughing at me.
after that we had a 'forum' on our sch rules.its where we have the chance to bring up problems and questions that we have to ms heng.i have to say that this year's forum wasn't as bad as last years! last year we 'debated' for SUPER long..and everyone was getting very frustrated and all.this year we only brought up a few things..so there is only a few amendments in our sch rules. one of the things that i brought up was abt wearing ankle socks during training.so after reasoning with her and get the board to agree..she finally says YES!(:
although in our tavel plan there wasn't shopping in it, but ms seah was very nice..she brought us to markota to shop for an hour.and again i went with fang=p we RAN fr one place to the another.hahaha.
after shopping..we went back to the hotel to have a SURPRISE farewell for ms seah=( ms seah is really nice!! she's so cute!hahaha.
day 3
its our last day.we confirmed what we will be doing for invest.and it sounded quite good(:
everyone must come and watch next year k!!=D
we went to the bee farm and then to the local product store.
and then we head for singapore...
i'll miss ms seah!
